Inventory Clerk

Wage: $17- $21 /hr. pay depends on experience

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, Overtime as required

Job Description  

The Inventory Clerk duties include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and reporting orders needed for parts to the controller, for more inventory according to demand. They are responsible for running to get parts when needed.

Essential functions

  • Organizing, cleaning, and stocking inventory areas
  • Running daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts
  • Making sure low stock item information is passed along to appropriate parties to be ordered
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Maintaining inventory by stocking and cataloging products for a business
  • Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft, such as too little inventory at last count
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Physical demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Long periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing
  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.

Travel required

  • As assigned by Management

Required education and experience

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 5 years of experience working in a stockroom or other inventory positions
  • computer and software experience
