2nd Shift Cleaner

Wage: $15- $18.00 /hr., based on experience

Hours: 4pm – 12:30am, Monday – Friday, Overtime as Needed

Job Description:  

The 2nd Shift Cleaner will perform janitorial duties with a focus on cleaning in and around all equipment, buildings, and machinery.

Essential functions:

• Cleans and maintains factory and industrial equipment. 
• Ensures equipment is free of grease, oil, residue, and other materials.
• Cleans floors around machinery and elsewhere in the facility as assigned. 
• Performs other basic janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe; tasks may include picking up trash, emptying receptacles
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Assists maintenance department as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements:  

• Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes. 
• Ability to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers. 
• Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly. 
• Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment.

• Outside/Inside
• All Seasons

 Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.

Preferred education and experience: 

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, not required. 
• Previous Janitorial experience preferred
• On the job training provided
